Overview REMAX Canada’s Quest for Excellence scholarship awards cash prizes to recognize students who demonstrate leadership and ongoing contributions to their communities. For 2026, REMAX Canada will distribute forty $1,000 scholarships to eligible students across Canada (Quebec excluded). Program themes and essays The 2026 program asks applicants to submit an original online essay (minimum 500 words) addressing one of the following prompts: - What does a bright future mean to you? - In what ways have you shown leadership or charitable action to improve your community? - What solutions would you propose to ensure safe, secure and affordable housing for all Canadians? Deadline Submissions are being accepted now through March 6, 2026. Who may apply (Eligibility) - Must be a Grade 12 student enrolled in a Canadian high school during the September 2025 – June 2026 school year. - Applicants must not have previously taken part in a commencement ceremony. - One entry per person. Note: Students in Quebec are not eligible. Selection and awards REMAX Canada will review essays and select 40 recipients, each receiving a $1,000 scholarship to support their post-secondary pursuits. Statements from REMAX Canada Don Kottick, President of REMAX Canada, notes that supporting the communities where agents live and work is a priority. The Quest for Excellence aims not only to help students with their education costs but also to encourage a spirit of giving and to highlight emerging community leaders.
