Receiving Rewards

In order to receive your scholarship, you will need to provide Smarter College with necessary information including your address (for those receiving payment by check) and your social security number. If Smarter College does not have this information, we will reach out to you to obtain it, but will not make payment until we have it.

There is no limit to how many times you may win.

Smarter College will report to the IRS the value of any scholarship rewards. Any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

Payments will be made within 4 weeks of winning a reward.

If winner does not comply, winner will face disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. The prize will be awarded within approximately 30-45 days after the winner is verified.

Scholarship Entry Period

The SmarterCollege Scholarship (the “Scholarship”) begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on the first day of each calendar month and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET of the same calendar month. Unless otherwise stated, the Scholarship reopens on the first day of each subsequent month. Entrants are eligible to participate in more than one month, with no upper limit.

Eligibility

The Scholarship is open to all residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, age 17 or older at the time of entry. Employees and contractors of LeverEdge Association are ineligible to participate in the Scholarship Program. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Entry

Online Application: Visit https://smartercollege.org/scholarship-application, and follow all entry instructions to complete the application and submit to receive one (1) entry into the Scholarship (the “Entry”).

Limit: One (1) Entry per person or or per IP address or per email address per Entry Month.

Selection

One (1) entry will be selected at random at the end of the Scholarship entry window. The drawings will be performed by an employee of LeverEdge Association (“Administrator”), whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to this Scholarship. The winner(s) will be notified via email. Winner must sign and return a Liability Waiver and an IRS W-9 Form and where allowable.

Prize Value

Unless otherwise stated in the title of the Scholarship, SmarterCollege will award $1,000 to one Entrant at random. Your odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries in a given Entry Window divided by the number of total eligible entries for Scholarship in the same Entry window.
