The David Bernatchez Memorial Award is valued at $20,000.00 ($5,000.00 per year for a maximum of four years of undergraduate study). This award is open to all 1st year full-time undergraduate students who will be a member of, or volunteer with, the StFX Rugby Team.  A minimum average of 70% required along with demonstrated financial need, and StFX qualities of leadership and service to community are required. Open to all nationalities

The David Bernatchez Memorial Award application will remain open until March 1st, 2025

To be considered, you need to:

• Apply to StFX and submit a first-term Grade 12 transcript(s) by March 1st, 11:59pm AST.
• You must submit your transcript(s) for admissions consideration by March 1st, 11:59 pm AST.

Please know that it is not required to have an admissions decision by March 1st, 11:59 pm AST.

Major scholarship eligibility is based on final marks for the five Grade 12 courses used to meet admission requirements for your program.  Please note that final Grade 11 equivalent subject marks may be used in the interim to calculate the average.

Students who have applied and been accepted to an undergraduate program will be advised, via email, of scholarship results in the Spring.
